Before machining our proprietary designs we decided to test out some pre existing ones for shits and giggles. Here’s the results.Â
- Made from hardened tool steel
- Finished in Black Nitride.
Notice: Due to the thickness of the lower paddle, this design may need to be filed down to fully pivot. However, in a Mil-Spec Receiver they seem to have enough clearance. In custom and aftermarket lowers they may need modification.
So if you’re a bit of a DYI’er and in the market for a super cheap aftermarket bolt catch here’s your opportunity. You live and you learn (Well we did anyway)…
