MOD 2 Laser Device Description

This MOD 2 Laser is applicable across all modern firearm platforms. The device features a high intensity 450nm Blue Laser, 780nm IR Laser for night vision, wired pressure pad, and optional flashlight mount. The unit is constructed out of 6061 Aluminum, weighs 5.5 Oz, and measures 10 picatinny slots in length. The onboard controls include a 3 position switch to select between Off, Visible, and Infrared mode. The laser activation button can be found on the top of the unit. The unit’s windage and elevation knobs can be found on the right side and top of the unit to zero the laser.

The laser can also be operated via the included remote pressure pad. Connecting the pressure pad allows the device to be operated remotely from a wide variety of configurations enabling the operator to tailor the setup to their preferences. When pressing the onboard laser activation button or pressure pad the laser will operate in momentary mode. Double clicking the onboard laser activation button or the pressure pad will toggle the laser into constant mode, keeping the beam on. When in constant mode the beam will stay on until the operator presses either activation button again.

The laser unit also comes with an included optional flashlight mount. Swapping the picatinny mounting clasp for this included one will allow the operator to attach a fixed mount light to the side of the laser. The picatinny base mount allows the unit to be mounted to all weapons with standard rails. The 2.5mm rear port allows the included pressure pad or a control unit to plug in and operate the laser. The laser is powered by 1x standard CR123A battery which can be inserted after unscrewing the rear battery cap.
