Hex Jam Nut 1/2-28 Description

This Hex Jam Nut fits all 1/2×28 threaded AR-15 barrels. Upgrading to a Jam Nut over a crush washer makes installing and timing a muzzle brake much easier and more precise. Furthermore, unlike single use crush washers, a jam nut can be reused and refitted. To install, thread the jam nut onto the barrel followed by the muzzle device. Once the muzzle device is timed to the correct position, turn the jam nut and tighten it against your muzzle device to fasten it into position. This jam nut is easy to install and is a great upgrade for any 1/2×28 threaded AR-15 barrel.
